"Both the Wildcat tract and Parks of Berkeley are located in a fast-growing region of the county that is slated for a host of new residential and commercial developments in the next 20 years. Other planned development includes Carnes Crossroads, an I’On Group development, and Cane Bay.

These developments surround the new Cane Bay High School and are blueprinted to add some 35,000 housing units over the next several decades. Additionally, Roper St. Francis is planning a new 50-bed hospital in the Carnes Crossroads community near Goose Creek, and Trident Health Systems is planning a new 50-bed hospital not far away in Moncks Corner.
